The article reviews the assumptions that drive ‘timing the market,’ the correlation between home loan interest rates and the national economy, and a simple financial analysis that demonstrates that as long as you’re going to stay put in your home for a few years, even if the home you bought went DOWN in value 10% over the first year of ownership, you would still be ahead of the guy that waited a year in an effort to time the market and have the lowest monthly payment. Seriously.
